Kendall's basketball season is winding down (of course, another one will start soon, so no tears, please). So our coaches thought it would be fun for the last practice of this season to have a mother-daughter event.
The smack talk started soon after: Six-year olds on the phone talking about how they were going to beat up on their moms. These girls are tough, let me tell you!
We pretty much got creamed in the dribbling department. I think it's mainly because our first-graders are low to the ground, therefore closer to the ball. But we creamed them in the shooting categories. Probably because we are taller and closer to the basket.
The highlight of our little practice session was the moms lining up for a shot. If the mom missed, all the girls had to run to the half-court line and back. If the mom made it, they were safe. Yeah, we all banked 'em!

It was fun, and a good workout. Hopefully, Kendall will be talking to me again by the weekend.
